American Horror Story actress Leslie Grossman has promised fans an "excellent, excellent" 10th season of the show.
The anthology horror series was due to begin filming its new run earlier this month but production was brought to an abrupt halt due to the coronavirus pandemic.
The theme of season 10 has yet to be revealed, although returning cast members include Grossman, Kathy Bates, Sarah Paulson, Billie Lourd and Evan Peters, while Home Alone's Macaulay Culkin will be a new addition.
"We were two weeks from starting shooting," Grossman told Watch What Happens Live.
"Everything got pulled, so we are in a waiting game just like everybody else is in a waiting game. All production is shut down - every movie, every TV show - everything is shut down.
"It remains to be seen how they're going to figure out how to get everything back up and running, but they were good to go and ready and had most of their scripts written.
"It's going to be an excellent, excellent season. Really good. I know everyone saw the cast announcements - it's a great cast. It's gonna be good."
Earlier this year FX announced that the show has already been renewed through to its 13th season, which will keep it on air until at least 2023.
