Big Brother teases a special task to tie in with the release of the new film in The Hunger Games series.

ITV has teased a Hunger Games-inspired task on Big Brother which could see multiple housemates evicted.

After tonight's double eviction, 10 housemates will still remain on the show - with just a fortnight to go until the grand final.

An advert shown on ITV over the last few days features promotion for the new prequel movie The Hunger Games: The Ballad of Songbirds & Snakes - due out November 17 - accompanied by the iconic BB theme tune.

Show narrator Marcus Bentley then teases the audience by saying: "Big Brother sees it all. This Sunday the Hunger Games begin in Big Brother."

The news appears to suggest that, as in the movie franchise, multiple players will be "eliminated" from the game over the course of the task - possibly resulting in several surprise evictions early next week.

The challenge is slated to begin on Saturday and will start to play out on screen from Sunday's ITV2 episode.
