Original Big Brother host Davina McCall has backed the idea of the show going 'back to basics' for its upcoming revival.
The seminal reality show is making a comeback on ITV2 later this year, five years after it was last broadcast on Channel 5.
McCall has remained a keen fan of the show, despite departing as host when it left Channel 4 in 2010, and admits that she's excited to see the format back on screens.
"I can't wait to see what they're going to do with it," she told The Mirror.
"If they go back to real basics and don't try and do anything too different, which is what I think they're going to do, I'm going to really enjoy it."
The new series, which will also have a brand new host, is due to launch this Autumn.
