Camilla Tominey's new politics show for GB News will air on Sunday mornings from January 8, it has been confirmed.
The journalist - associate editor of The Telegraph - will present an "informative and entertaining" weekly programme live from the station's studio in Westminster Tower, which overlooks the Houses of Parliament.
The Camilla Tominey Show will air over 90 minutes from 9.30am, directly after Sky News' rival show with Sophy Ridge ends, and will be followed by Michael Portillo's Sunday show.
"We just want it to be informative and entertaining," she told Thursday's Farage. "We want it to be politics that packs a punch, but not necessarily full of strange gotcha moments where it's all about the presenter and not the guests.
"There's some very serious issues for the politicians of this country to answer and we want them to do that. We want to do it openly with debate and audience participation - this is the people's channel, so we want the people to be involved in the questions we're asking, and also in analysing some of the answers.
"It's going to be jam-packed because we want it to be pacy and we want to take on the competition - for far too long we've had this assumption that by default people will watch the BBC or Sky. Why should they when we could perhaps produce something even more interesting?"
A new weekly show fronted by comedy legend John Cleese is also due to launch on the channel in the new year.
