Erling Braut Haaland has signed a deal with Scandinavian streaming service Viaplay for a new documentary series and ambassadorial role.
The service - offering premium sports content alongside a library of Scandinavian TV shows - will launch in the UK in the coming months and recently concluded a deal to buy Premier Sports, giving it the rights to La Liga and UEFA national team competitions.
Haaland, 22, completed a huge move from Borussia Dortmund to Manchester City over the summer and his Viaplay documentary will feature behind-the-scenes footage of the process, as well as interviews with those closest to him.
The deal will also see him become an ambassador for the company in the nine European markets where Viaplay has Premier League rights, while his father Alf-Inge Haaland will become a studio pundit for their PL coverage.
"All my life I've watched and supported English football. To be able now to play in the Premier League is a dream come true," said Erling.
"Joining up with Premier League rightsholders Viaplay in an ambassador role is something I look forward to. I'm sure we'll have many fun years together."
Viaplay recently completed a similar deal with reigning Formula 1 champion Max Verstappen.
