GB News has announced that Nigel Farage will host a new nightly show on the station starting from next week.
The former Brexit Party leader currently hosts a Sunday morning show, The Political Correction, for the network and from Monday will host a new one-hour show called Farage in the 7pm hour.
Farage will air live from Monday to Thursday, just before Andrew Neil's flagship show, and as a result Michelle Dewberry's Dewbs & Co. will be scaled back from two hours a night to just one.
The schedule shakeup comes after a tumultuous week for the station that saw presenter Guto Harri suspended by the channel for taking the knee on air and head of programming John McAndrew quit his position.
In a video announcing his new show, Farage said: "So since politics, I've done a fair bit of broadcasting. And broadcasting matters, it really does - it gets people to look at issues, think about issues in different ways and can be very influential.
"We'll take on the tough issues of the day, we'll interview people who really understand their subjects, not just some minister who's there to spout the party line."
Farage previously presented a show for talk radio station LBC for three and a half years.
