GB News has hired two more regional reporters as the channel inches closer to launch.
The new station is assembling an army of regional reporters around the UK and has already appointed correspondents for areas including London, Wales, Northern Ireland, Yorkshire and Humberside, the North West and the North East.
The latest two to join the team are Ellie Costello, who is leaving the BBC to become South-East reporter, and veteran Scottish journalist David Donaldson.
Welcome to @elliecostelloTV, our South East reporter. Ellie comes from Essex and completed her two degrees in Southampton and London before joining BBC News for several years. Expect to hear a lot from her on GB News as she finds out what really matters to people in her region. pic.twitter.com/ZL53u9m9M0

A drumroll for our new Scotland reporter @doubledee1973. David Donaldson is as Scottish as they come: born in Wick, he's lived in Ayrshire, Moray, Orkney, the Highlands and more. He's been broadcasting for 15 years and can't wait to bring the unique voices of Scotland to GB News. pic.twitter.com/DUkPLGY7en
