GB News placeholder goes live on Sky ahead of launch
GB News launches a placeholder card on Sky ahead of its rumoured launch at the end of the month.

A placeholder message for GB News has gone live via Sky ahead of the channel's rumoured launch in a fortnight.

Over the weekend it was reported that the news and debate channel will launch on Bank Holiday Monday, May 31, although the broadcaster has yet to confirm the date.

GB News has been testing via Sky - off the EPG - with a colour test card since the end of March but today that was replaced by a coming soon message, accompanied by a live timestamp in GMT.

A similar message went live via Freeview and Youview on channel 236 at the end of April.

An EPG slot for GB News via Sky has yet to be confirmed, with channel 524 the most likely destination unless the broadcaster splashes the cash to acquire a better slot higher up the listings.
