ITV schedules The Italian Job ahead of Euro 2020 final
ITV schedules The Italian Job for Sunday afternoon following England's qualification for the Euro 2020 final against Italy.

ITV has made a cheeky alteration to its Sunday schedule following England's qualification for the Euro 2020 final.

Gareth Southgate's side booked their place in the showpiece match last night courtesy of a tense 2-1 victory over Denmark in extra time.

Sunday night's final will see them take on Italy at Wembley, with coverage of the game being broadcast both on ITV and BBC One.

In a nod to England's opponents, ITV's coverage will now be preceded by a screening of the 1969 film The Italian Job, which stars Michael Caine as a cockney criminal attempting to pull off a heist in Italy.

Build-up to the game will start at 6.30pm on ITV, with Mark Pougatch hosting, alongside pundits Gary Neville, Roy Keane and Ian Wright.

BBC One, meanwhile, will broadcast live coverage of the men's final at Wimbledon in the afternoon, with Match of the Day following on from 6.20pm.
