Mark White joins GB News after 22 years at Sky
Mark White leaves Sky after 22 years to take up a new role at GB News.

Mark White has left his role as Home Affairs Correspondent at Sky News to join GB News, it has been announced.

The veteran journalist moves to the fledgling news channel after 22 years working at Sky, where he specialised in the big domestic areas of crime, policing, security and terrorism.

Explaining his switch, White said: "When GB News first launched, it reported for a whole day from my home town in the Scottish Borders.

"I knew then that it was my kind of journalism, genuinely committed to listening to the voices and concerns of people right across the nation."

The hiring of respected correspondent White comes as GB News looks to broaden its initial remit, with new sports, business and politics shows all launching within the next week.
