Conservative MP Robert Jenrick is reportedly in talks about presenting regular slots on GB News.
The 42-year-old, who has been the MP for Newark in Nottinghamshire since 2014, lost the recent race to become Conservative leader to Kemi Badenoch and subsequently accepted a job in her team as Shadow Justice Secretary.
According to the political insider website Guido Fawkes, Jenrick recently filmed a segment centred on crime which is due to air on GB News in the coming week.
The publication says: "The finer details are still being ironed out, though the segments, which will be thematic, aren't expected to be long. Guido hears Jenrick is currently weighing up whether to stick to justice-related issues or broaden the scope."
GB News has a number of politicians on its books, with Reform MPs Nigel Farage and Lee Anderson, former Conservative MPs Jacob Rees-Mogg and Michael Portillo and ex-Labour MP Gloria De Piero all hosting their own shows.
