Sky Sports inks a new five-year deal to show almost 90% of all games from the Women's Super League from 2025-26.

Sky Sports has inked a major new deal with the Women's Super League to show almost 90% of games.

The five-year agreement, which kicks in for 2025-26, will see Sky broadcast 118 games a season - more than three times the amount broadcast at present - including every game on the closing weekend.

Sky will also get the option to broadcast games from the Women's Championship and the Women's FA Cup, including the final, for the first time.

"This is an incredibly exciting and significant moment for women's sport," said Dana Strong, Sky Group chief exec. "The longer-term partnership reflects our commitment to women's football and provides the platform for us to keep working with the WPLL to bring in more fans, grow the game and create the most entertaining and competitive women's football league in the world.

"As the home of sport, Sky is already by far the biggest investor in women's sport in the UK and Ireland, and this new partnership further demonstrates our backing of elite female athletes. We look forward to telling their stories and inspiring the next generation of fans."

The BBC has also renewed its deal to screen games for the same period - albeit for 21 games a season, one fewer than at present.
