Five of Sky's new FAST channels launch for free on Samsung TV Plus.

Five of Sky's new FAST channels have become available for free via Samsung TV Plus.

The broadcaster made its first foray into the FAST market in July with a modest portfolio of new stations anchored around the Sky Sports, Sky Arts and Pick brands.

At the time, the channels were available only to Sky Stream and Sky Glass customers via the 'Xumo' app, although Sky did reveal plans to make them accessible directly in the EPG - as well as launch them on Sky Q - later this year.

Now five of them have become available through Samsung TV Plus, the free FAST service available to people with Samsung TVs, phones and tablets.

The five new channels:

- Emergency 24/7 (channel 4208)
- Pick Paranormal (channel 4217)
- Sky Artist of The Year (channel 4406)
- Sky Sports Stories (channel 4548)
- Sky Sports Classics (channel 4549)

Sky Sports Vault is the only channel not currently available through Samsung.
