Toyah searches the park looking for Freddie and happens upon three amateur detectives digging up a rose bed looking for Lauren's body. Toyah sees red, picks up a shovel and smashes their car window as one of them films her. Nick arrives and talks a tearful Toyah down. Later, Toyah goes to the flower shop and purchases a single yellow rose, claiming that it's for Leanne.

Eileen catches Todd in the act of reading George's will - and when Todd reveals that George is leaving him the undertaker business, Eileen points out that George would quickly change his mind if he knew that Todd had invaded his privacy. As Todd slips George's will back in the file he notices a copy of Archie Shuttleworth's will and sneakily pockets it.

Nick returns home to find Toyah in tears - and when he asks what's up, she reveals that at the age of 19 she gave birth to a stillborn baby girl and buried it in the same place where the sleuths were digging up in the park. Toyah tells a shocked Nick that the baby's father was Phil Simmonds, the man who raped her over two decades ago. An oblivious Simon returns home and informs them that the police are digging up the park - and rumour has it that they've found a body...

Meanwhile, Dee-Dee makes the case for Roy's bail application, explaining that Bobby saw a man leaving Lauren's flat who didn't fit Roy's description, but the judge refuses. Later, Roy calls Carla from prison and asks her to visit as he needs to talk about Bobby's statement.
