Lydia's taken aback when Daniel tells her that he was wrongly accused of having a relationship with Summer.

Jenny and Leo take the next step

Carla reminds Jenny that she promised to give Kate a share of Johnny's inheritance, accusing her of abandoning her family for her new relationship.

Jenny gets a call saying that Leo's been injured playing rugby but when she arrives at A&E, she's shocked to see some familiar faces.

After getting approval from an apologetic Carla, Jenny decides that Leo should move in to the Rovers.


Tim goes under the knife

In hospital, Tim asks Kevin to tell Sally that he's sorry and he loves her. As the anaesthetic takes effect before his operation, Tim hears a commotion in the corridor - it's Sally, who's being arrested by the police.

As Tim recovers, Sally reveals that the developers have gone cold on her election campaign because of the article in the paper - and Faye speculates that a rival candidate may have tipped them off. Convinced it's Maria, Sally wastes no time in confronting her.

Sally attempts to celebrate Tim's 50th in hospital, but Elaine is adamant that all her son needs is rest before he goes home tomorrow. When Elaine offers to move in to help out, Tim's delighted but Sally's less than enthused.

Bernie's lies catch up with her

Dev and Bernie host a joint family meal at Speed Daal and announce that they are now officially a couple. Later, Bernie warns Joseph to keep quiet.

Evelyn starts to put the pieces together when Bernie's forced to admit that she bought Joseph a video game, claiming that she could afford it because Dev gave her a pay rise.
