Beth turns the screw on Gemma
Beth fumes at Gemma for the Bertie incident and reveals that she's reported her to social services. When social worker Mandy arrives, Gemma admits that she isn't a registered childminder - and an appalled Mandy warns her that she should expect a substantial fine.

Sarah has a scare - and Adam has a panic
Adam worries for Damon when he sees a newspaper report about a local gangster being murdered. Meanwhile, Owen's boss Josie is impressed with Sarah's Nippersnapper pitch and agrees to go ahead with the contract.

When Sarah catches Adam looking through her phone for info on Damon, he confesses to what he did in exiling him from the street. But Sarah suddenly realises she's bleeding and they rush to the hospital for a scan.

In court, Adam - preoccupied with the baby - is making his client's case when he starts to sweat and lose focus. Dee-Dee's concerned as Adam has a full-on panic attack.

Adam arranges for the Platts and the Barlows to meet up so that they can announce the pregnancy, but Sarah tells him that it's too soon so he covers and makes up something about winning a court case. But then Daniel shows up late and, not realising the plan has changed, suggests a toast to the new baby...

Toyah's in danger
Toyah stumbles upon bank statements demonstrating that Spider has more money than he let on, so she goes on his laptop and is horrified to discover that Spider has been messaging his ex and has been looking for houses near her. When she confronts him, he protests his innocence before dropping to one knee and proposing.

While Spider is attending a covert meeting in a car park, a woman arrives to see Toyah, claiming to be Spider's wife. When Spider phones her and tells her that the woman is an imposter, Toyah does her best to act normal as Spider rushes to the flat. But when he arrives, he finds no sign of Toyah or Sam - and blood on the floor...

Max the pawn
Sabrina's furious to see Max enjoying a picnic with Lauren.

Max accompanies Lauren on a visit to her dad in prison. Reece tries to claim that he was only part of the gang because Griff had threatened Lauren's life, and it soon dawns on Max that Reece and Lauren want him to make a false statement in order to get his sentence reduced.
