Dee-Dee and Nina are shocked when the nurse confirms that Roy was visited by a young girl with blonde hair. Later, Dee-Dee informs Bethany and Joel that the police are checking the CCTV to determine whether it was Lauren.
Roy's delighted that Lauren is alive but Nina's angry that she left it this late to help clear his name, while Bethany deduces that it must have been Lauren who was using her credit card.

Carla spots the yobs who previously hassled Roy and gives them a piece of her mind, but as she gets back into her car, one of the yobs cycles into her door and gets knocked off his bike.

Dee-Dee and Bethany go through her credit card statements for clues and find a number of transactions in Warrington, prompting Dee-Dee to suggest that they check out soup kitchens in that area. There, they meet a homeless woman who tells them that Lauren is squatting in a pub called The Red Lion.

Carla visits Lisa to tell her how little work Betsy is doing, but the conversation comes to an end when Betsy calls to say that she is stuck in a rough part of town. Later, Betsy spots Beth letting herself into the factory and follows her - what is Beth up to?
