Coronation Street star Sally Carman has revealed that she was forced to film last week's pivotal court scenes by herself.
The trial for the murder of Seb (Harry Visinoni) - son of Carman's character Abi - ended with a shock verdict as murderer Corey (Maximus Evans) was found not guilty by the jury.
In the episodes Abi was shown reacting to evidence during the trial, as well as being outraged by the verdict, but now Carman has admitted that all of her scenes were filmed separately at a later date after she caught coronavirus.
"It was very different for me because I came down with COVID," she told The Sun.
"I was off for a month because I got it pretty bad, so I wasn't in court and I ended up filming all my bits in two days separately.
"I was read the lines by the Assistant Director and there was no-one else on the courtroom set with me apart from Mike Le Vell (Kevin Webster).
"It was very strange and I still wasn't 100%, so it all went like a bit of a dream, but watching it back I'm absolutely blown away how brilliantly it all fits together."
Coronation Street continues Mondays, Wednesdays and Fridays on ITV.
