Hollyoaks legend Nicole Barber-Lane is to make a guest appearance on Coronation Street later this month, it has been revealed.
The actress played no-nonsense matriarch Myra McQueen on the Channel 4 soap between 2006 and 2019, with the character ultimately leaving the village for a new life in Spain.
Posting on Instagram this week, Barber-Lane shared pictures of her on the Corrie set, confirming that she will appear as a character called 'Ange'.
She wrote: "So if you guessed @coronationstreet you were right! Such a pleasure to do a little cameo.....[look] out for Ange in last week in September......"
According to The Sun, Ange is owner of a rival cab firm to Steve's (Simon Gregson) Streetcars and will show up hoping to strike a deal with Webster's Autos, which is run by Kevin (Michael Le Vell).
Coronation Street continues Mondays, Wednesdays and Fridays at 8pm on ITV1 and ITVX.
