Coronation Street favourite Helen Flanagan reportedly has no intent to return to the soap any time soon as she instead focuses on motherhood.
The 31-year-old has played the role of Rosie Webster on and off since 2000, most recently departing in 2018 to have her first child with her footballer fiancé Scott Sinclair.
Since then Flanagan has gone on to welcome three children in total and despite her previously indicating a desire to head back to the cobbles, The Sun says that there are no current plans for that to happen.
"It's up in the air as to whether she will ever return. She has other career dreams she'd like to work on before making up her mind," a source told the newspaper.
"She wants to focus on her three children and has other career dreams, including acting roles, she would like to work on before making up her mind whether to reprise her role as Rosie.
"In the short term the break would be around two to three more years but there's no saying she will come back even after that.
"Helen loves Coronation Street, her character and the family but it takes up a huge amount of her time and it's become unfeasible.
"ITV have left the door open for her should she ever wish to come back."
Brooke Vincent, who plays Flanagan's on-screen sister Sophie, has also been on maternity leave but recently said that she would return to Corrie "soon".
