Kimberly Hart-Simpson has expressed her desire to return to Coronation Street following her short stint on the soap in 2020.
The 34-year-old played the part of Nicky Wheatley, an escort whom Daniel (Rob Mallard) turned to as he grieved the loss of his wife Sinead.
Nicky departed the cobbles after just three months to start a new life with her daughter, but the character quickly became a fan favourite and reports have suggested that producers may bring her back this year.
"I mean, I'd give my left tit to go back, quite frankly," Hart-Simpson told FUBAR Radio. "So, it's just the case of... it's COVID, I think it is.
"And obviously there are things I am aware of but I can't talk about them because that's... you know, it's confidentiality. But the door has completely remained open."
Talking about her life-long love of the soap, she added: "Do you know what? My heart will always forever and utterly be Coronation Street. Just because that's what I grew up on. It's just in my blood.
"It's part of my life isn't it? And it's just been a, it's been a journey, always waking up, going, 'I'm meant to be in Corrie, I'm meant to be in Corrie.' For ten years I auditioned for that show. Ten years!"
After leaving Corrie, Hart-Simpson went on to appear in E4's Celebs Go Dating: The Mansion.
