Coronation Street legends Sally Dynever and Michael Le Vell both agree new deals to remain on the soap.

Coronation Street stalwarts Sally Dynevor and Michael Le Vell have both signed new contracts keeping them on the soap until at least 2024.

The pair have appeared on the show for the best part of 40 years, with Le Vell making his debut as Kevin Webster in 1983 and Dynevor joining as Sally Seddon in 1986.

Kevin and Sally were married twice, and had daughters Rosie and Sophie together, but ultimately their relationship was ruined by infidelities on both sides.

Corrie has a long-standing policy of only offering 12-month contract renewals, and the news of Dynevor and Le Vell's new deals comes after it emerged that Bill Roache had concluded a deal for Ken Barlow to stay on the cobbles.

Coronation Street continues Mondays, Wednesdays and Fridays on ITV1.
