Coronation Street legend Sally Dynevor has said that she hopes to still be appearing on the show in 20 years' time.
The soap celebrates its milestone 60th anniversary next week - and in the process Bill Roache, 88, marks an incredible world-beating 60 years in the role of Ken Barlow.
Dynevor, 57, will rack up an impressive 35 years on the soap herself next month and intends to still be playing Sally Metcalfe when the 80th anniversary rolls around in 2040.
"I hope I'm in the show to celebrate its 70th and 80th anniversaries - that would be great," she told the Daily Star.
"Of course it's changed over the years and evolved into what it is now, which is brilliant. It's moved with the times - I'm so proud of it and so proud to be part of it.
"I definitely want to be here when I'm 80.
"I have the same enthusiasm as I did when I first started 34 years ago. I pick up scripts and I go, 'Oh, I can't wait to do that!' and 'I'm really looking forward to working with this person'.
"I walk into the building and I know everyone and I just feel safe and happy and fulfilled.
"If I left Corrie what would I get? Tiny little parts in other things. I'm very happy here."
