Eddie 'The Eagle' Edwards has joined Dancing On Ice for its upcoming new series.
The 59-year-old gained notoriety in the '80s when he became the first Brit to compete in ski jumping at the Winter Olympics, finishing last place in both of his events.
Eddie joins the cast of the 2024 series as a replacement for former Gogglebox star Stephen Lustig-Webb, who broke his ankle during training.
"It's bittersweet as whilst I'm delighted to be taking part in the new series I'm gutted for Stephen and wish him a speedy recovery," he said in a statement.
"Dancing On Ice is a show I've always wanted to do. It's a challenge I think I'm going to relish!"
The new series begins on ITV in January.
