ITV 'axes John Barrowman as Dancing On Ice judge'

ITV reportedly decides not to invite back John Barrowman for the next series of Dancing On Ice following revelations about his past on-set behaviour.

ITV has reportedly decided not to invite back John Barrowman as a judge for the next series of Dancing On Ice.

The 54-year-old recently admitted to allegations that he had exposed his penis on set of Doctor Who and Torchwood more than a decade ago, apologising for his actions but describing them as "tomfoolery" rather than sexual in nature.

ITV has since come under pressure to drop him from his role on Dancing On Ice and according to The Sun, the broadcaster has now decided that he will no longer be part of the show.

"Ever since allegations against John came to light, discussions have been ongoing over his future on the panel of Dancing On Ice," a source told the newspaper.

"But the feeling now is there is no way we can invite him back. ITV has shown they are prepared to act decisively when stars are accused of inappropriate behaviour. And it seems this situation will not be the exception to the rule."

Dancing On Ice is due to return to ITV for a new series next January.
