ITV has denied reports that former Strictly Come Dancing judge Arlene Phillips will be joining the panel of Dancing On Ice next year.
Earlier this week the broadcaster confirmed that John Barrowman would not be returning as a judge for the new series following a scandal which saw him admit to exposing his penis on the set of Doctor Who over a decade ago.
According to a report in The Sun, veteran choreographer Phillips - part of Strictly between 2004 and 2008 - has been in "advanced talks" to take over Barrowman's slot on the show.
An ITV spokesman flatly denied the report, however, telling the Radio Times that in the wake of Barrowman's exit, there will be "no new judge" joining the show.
The lineup for the new series is in the process of being announced, with celebrities confirmed so far including Rachel Stevens, Sally Dynevor, Liberty Poole and Ben Foden.
