Lady Leshurr has insisted that she is not "upset" after landing in Dancing On Ice's first skate-off of the series.
The rapper and songwriter found herself in the bottom two alongside actor Joe-Warren Plant following the viewer vote in last night's launch show, with the judging panel then deciding to put her into the skate-off against next week's bottom-placed celebrity.
Leshurr and pro partner Brendyn Hatfield had earlier performed to Little Mix's anthemic 'Salute', earning plaudits for her innovative rap on ice as part of the routine.
"Thank you so much for tuning in and for giving me so much love and support," she told followers on Instagram Live after the show.
"Me and Brendyn have been training so hard for that routine. I've got to give a round of applause for every single pro and every single celeb on the show because it takes over your whole life.
"I am so happy with the outcome and the performance went really well. I couldn't have done it without Brendyn."
She added: "I was really bad at skating – that's why I can't be upset. I am just so happy that I've done it. I've made my mum proud, I have made my sister proud, my sister was looking over me, I know it."
Dancing On Ice continues Sunday at 6pm on ITV.
