Myleene Klass officially confirmed as first Dancing On Ice contestant

TV presenter and singer Myleene Klass is named as the first contestant in the lineup for the 2021 series of Dancing On Ice.

Myleene Klass has been named as the first contestant in the lineup for the next series of Dancing On Ice.

The singer and presenter, 42, was previously linked with Strictly Come Dancing but has now signed up for ITV's rival show, which returns in January.

"I have a 13-year-old daughter and a nine-year-old daughter who are obsessed with ice skating," said Klass.

"They both ice skate and I stand there and I hold the coats. That's my role – to tie the shoelaces and hold the coats.

"Now it's my turn to learn and I can't wait!"

The identities of the other 11 celebrities taking part will be revealed in the coming weeks.
