The BBC has appeared to "accidentally" reveal the return date for Doctor Who in a trailer on iPlayer.
Ncuti Gatwa's second full series as The Doctor, which will see him joined by Varada Sethu as new companion Belinda Chandra, had originally been earmarked for an April or May start date.
Now the date seems to have been set as Saturday, April 12 - one week before the Easter weekend and a full month ahead of the schedule for the previous series, which premiered on May 11, 2024.
The reveal came in a short trailer for the series broadcast on iPlayer during half-time of Friday's Under-20s Six Nations game between England and Scotland, as well as the Premiership Women's Rugby match between Gloucester and Harlequins.
Both games have now been removed from iPlayer and the BBC has yet to confirm the release date.
