Jonah Hauer-King's role in the 2025 season of Doctor Who looks set to be a sinister one, the latest filming pictures suggest.

Jonah Hauer-King looks set to have a sinister role in Doctor Who, the latest pictures from set appear to suggest.

Although the first full season featuring Ncuti Gatwa and Millie Gibson is still a fortnight away from airing, filming on the second season - due to air in 2025 - has been underway for the last eight months.

Pictures of filming posted by fans on social media show Hauer-King's face on a series of posters, with captions such as "What would Conrad do?", "Everyone can be happy!" and "Conrad sees our hard work".

Other signs featuring 'Conrad' can be seen on street corners and lampposts, with captions including "Don't let your mind wander", "Questions cause problems" and "No place for doubt in society". One street used for filming also appears to have been renamed "Good Morning" in the London Borough of Hackney.

Fans have speculated that the story could be set in an alternate version of London with a Big Brother-style control of citizens, while there have also been rumours that Hauer-King's character will be the boyfriend of Gibson's Ruby Sunday.

Doctor Who returns to BBC One in the UK and Disney+ worldwide on Saturday, May 11.
