Naomi's in disbelief when Belle and Chas inform her that they saw Alex handing cash to a mystery woman. Naomi confronts him about the fake job interview was supposed to be at - and he soon delivers a seemingly-innocent explanation, introducing her to Clare and her son Max. Alex explains that he met Max's dad in prison and since his release he's been helping them out financially. Naomi falls for his explanation but later, it's revealed that his relationship with Naomi is a sham and he's just using her to orchestrate a robbery of the surgery.
