Country singer Twinnie-Lee Moore has joined the cast of Emmerdale in a guest role playing a "ruthless" new character connected to Billy (Jay Kontzle).
The star - previously known for playing Porsche McQueen in Hollyoaks - made her debut last Friday as boxing promoter Jade.
In recent weeks viewers have seen Billy turning to the dark world of unlicensed boxing to earn some much-needed cash - an extra-curricular activity that he has managed to keep secret from wife Dawn (Olivia Bromley).
The storyline will develop further in the coming months as Jade tempts him to continue down the dangerous path, but in doing so Billy may end up putting his family in serious danger.
"My life has been a bit crazy recently juggling music and acting with lots of back and forth between Nashville and Yorkshire but I've been loving it," said Moore of the part.
"I've loved being back on screen, especially as the show is shot in Yorkshire, being able to be home with family and go to work on such an iconic show has been nothing short of amazing!
"The whole team has been so welcoming and really supportive. My character is so much fun to play and I can't wait to see how the audience reacts to her."
Emmerdale continues weekdays at 7.30pm on ITV1 and from 7am on ITVX.
