An Emmerdale spokeswoman confirms that Danny Miller has quit the show after 13 years as Aaron Dingle.

An Emmerdale spokeswoman has confirmed reports that Danny Miller has quit his role as Aaron Dingle.

The news of his exit from the soap after 13 years broke yesterday, just days before he is due to appear on the new series of I'm A Celebrity... Get Me Out Of Here!

The spokeswoman said: "Danny has achieved so much during his time at Emmerdale playing the role of Aaron. He has had to tackle some of the hardest hitting storylines and has made a lasting impact on the show.

"Aaron is a character our viewers took into their hearts and have followed his rollercoaster journey for years. Danny will be hugely missed and we wish him all the best going forwards."

Miller is thought to have already filmed his exit, meaning that it could play out on screen over Christmas and the New Year.
