Emmerdale's outside filming has been abandoned due to the bad weather sweeping across the UK this week.
Storm Larisa has caused widespread chaos, with sub-zero temperatures, high winds and snowfall impacting travel and leading to school closures.
Members of Emmerdale's cast took to social media on Friday to share pictures of the soap's 24-acre village in Yorkshire covered in snow.
"Filming on Emmerdale cancelled today due to the snow," wrote Nick Miles, aka Jimmy. "Look out Leeds. We're all going sledging."
The soap is believed to be currently filming episodes which are not due to air until May, making the prospect of continuing filming with a snowy backdrop unrealistic.
A spokesperson for the show confirmed: "Due to the weather and road accessibility all Emmerdale filming units have been cancelled today."
Emmerdale continues weeknights at 7.30pm on ITV1 and ITVX.
