Emmerdale star Jurell Carter has revealed that there will be "serious trouble" for his character Nate and Caleb (Will Ash) in this week's episodes.
In recent weeks Nate has started secretly working for his uncle Caleb at his car business under the tutelage of Corey (Kyle Rowe).
Corey has a side hustle to earn extra money via dodgy dealings with a client called Harry (Robert Beck) - a secret that Nate has kept from Caleb under pressure from Corey.
Caleb has now promoted Nate to be Corey's boss, however, and when Nate orders an end to his extra-curricular activities, Corey's reaction prompts Nate to come clean to Caleb.
"Caleb is fuming. Nate tells him everything, including the dodgy dealings that he and Corey have been involved in with Harry," explained Carter.
"Caleb is angry but also disappointed because he thought he could trust Nate. And he's let him down massively.
"It's also the first time we realise how serious this Harry guy is. As Caleb mentions, 'if it's the Harry I know of, he's not someone you want to mess with'. This is a further crushing blow to Nate's world. He knows he's in massive trouble."

Caleb tries to take control of the situation and arranges to meet Harry to put an end to things, but it soon becomes clear that Harry has no intention of stopping his illegal activities.
"[Nate is] reminded by Corey's threats that Harry is a very serious guy that doesn't take kindly to being disrespected and will use violence to prove his point," Carter continued.
"It makes Nate very fearful and apprehensive about both Caleb and Nate's next steps."
Emmerdale continues weeknights at 7.30pm on ITV1 and ITVX.
