ITV will play catch up with Emmerdale tomorrow night by screening three episodes back to back, the broadcaster has confirmed.
Network schedules have been hastily rearranged on a daily basis since the death of The Queen last Thursday, with planned episodes of Emmerdale postponed on Thursday, Friday and Monday.
The hour-long Thursday episode was eventually broadcast on Sunday, while the hour-long Friday episode was split in two and broadcast last night and tonight.
Tomorrow night, the episodes originally due to air on Monday, Tuesday and Wednesday will be broadcast back-to-back from 7.30pm.
ITV has yet to announce its lineup for Friday, by which time the broadcaster will be just one episode behind, although next week the Monday episode is also due to be postponed due to coverage of The Queen's funeral.
Meanwhile, ITV has scheduled in Coronation Street for the 9pm hour on Thursday, meaning that the soap will be back on track by the end of the week, although next Monday's episode will also have to be rescheduled due to the funeral.
