Three-piece band The Busker win the Eurovision national selection competition for Malta.

The Busker have been chosen to represent Malta at this year's Eurovision Song Contest in Liverpool.

The three-piece band triumphed with their song 'Dance (Our Own Party)' during the final of the national selection contest in Ta' Quali on Saturday night, beating off 15 other finalists.

The group amassed a total of 121 points on the night after a combination of public and jury votes - a tally that was 36 points clear of their nearest rival.

In Liverpool, The Busker will take to the stage for the first time in the first semi-final on May 9.
