Danny Dyer reportedly agrees to take part in the next celebrity edition of The Great British Bake Off.

Danny Dyer has reportedly agreed to take part in the next celebrity edition of The Great British Bake Off in aid of Stand Up To Cancer.

The former EastEnders star has previously ruled out ever appearing on the show following an embarrassing incident at a celebrity event.

A show source told The Sun: "Danny once said he could never go on the show because he got rather drunk at a bash and when he met former judge Mary Berry, he licked her ear.

"It's something which he was later mortified by, though no doubt her fellow judge on the show, Paul Hollywood, thought it was hilarious.

"But Paul is likely to ensure Danny doesn't get up to any similar mischief on the Celeb Bake Off - he doesn't want to offer a Hollywood handshake only to have the actor reciprocate with an appreciative lick."

The new celebrity series is expected to air on Channel 4 next spring, while the next regular series gets underway next month.
