The final three bakers in this year's series of The Great British Bake Off have been revealed.
This year's semi-final was a test of the contestants' patisserie skills, which saw them deliver buttery breakfast pastries and a showstopping Entremet Fruit display.
Christiaan de Vries, a Dutch menswear designer, was the first to earn his spot in next week's final as he earned Star Baker, but it was a fall at the final hurdle for Gill Howard, who became the ninth baker to leave the tent.
"Quite right too!" she remarked after the announcement. "Patisserie got me, but I can't be sad. I have had the absolute best time - brilliant."
Joining De Vries in the final to compete for this year's title are 20-year-old Dylan Bachelet from Bucks and 34-year-old paediatric nurse Georgie Grasso.
The Great British Bake Off: The Final airs next Tuesday, November 26 at 9pm on Channel 4.
