BAFTA winner Emily Burnett has joined the cast of Hollyoaks playing new character Olivia, it has been announced.
The news comes hot on the heels of the confirmation that Malique Thompson-Dwyer will be back in the village as Prince McQueen from September.
Olivia is a new love interest for Prince and is described as self-assured, with a love for the finer things in life and "knows what she wants and how to get it".
"I am so excited to be joining the cast of Hollyoaks," said Burnett, who won her BAFTA for CBBC's The Dumping Ground. "Especially working with Malique and Chelsee and getting to (hopefully) be a member of the legendary McQueen family.
"What to expect from Olivia? Well, she's classy, very sassy and knows exactly what she wants. She is probably someone you don't want to get on the wrong side of - but I think she has a good heart deep down - especially when it comes to Prince."
Burnett's first scenes as Olivia will air on E4's first-look episode on September 8.
