Hollyoaks confirms return of Ashworth family

Suzanne Hall and Emma Rigby return to Hollyoaks as mother and daughter Suzanne and Hannah Ashworth.

Suzanne Hall and Emma Rigby are to return to Hollyoaks as Suzanne and Hannah Ashworth.

The pair will show up on the doorstep of the Osbornes in the New Year, shocking Darren (Ashley Taylor Dawson), who is a father to 12-year-old twins with Suzanne.

Hall was a regular on the soap between 2005 and 2012, when Suzanne emigrated to Spain, while Rigby played Suzanne's daughter Hannah from 2005 to 2010.

"I'm super excited to be returning as Suzanne and working with Ashley and Emma," said Hall.

"In true Hollyoaks style there is so much happening, lots of twists and turns and as always a huge storyline to come."

Hollyoaks airs weeknights at 7pm on E4, with first-look episodes available the day before on Channel 4 streaming.
