Jayden Fox confirms that his final scenes as villainous youngster Bobby Costello have aired on Hollyoaks.

Young Hollyoaks actor Jayden Fox has confirmed that his final scenes as Bobby Costello have now aired.

Bobby - the son of Mercedes (Jennifer Metcalfe) - was handed a substantial prison sentence earlier this year for killing his evil grandfather Silas (Jeff Rawle) and Verity Hutchinson (Eva O'Hara), as well as for not preventing the death of Sylver (David Tag).

The character recently reappeared to insult - and then make amends - with his mum, and now the soap has revealed that viewers have seen the last of Bobby for now.

In a video on the show's Instagram, 14-year-old Fox said: "I'd like to say thank you to everyone and I'd like to say a special thank you to Jen for putting up with me for five years.

"I've really had a good time with her and she's been like a second mum to me and also thank you to all the fans - I hope you've all loved hating Bobby.

"Maybe I'll see you again in the future, maybe I won't, but that's goodbye for now."

Hollyoaks continues weekdays on Channel 4, E4 and All 4.
