AJ Pritchard has been given the go-ahead to appear on I'm A Celebrity... Get Me Out Of Here! this weekend after returning a negative coronavirus test.
The former Strictly Come Dancing pro was announced as one of the 10 celebs in the launch lineup last weekend but his participation was somewhat in the balance after it emerged that he had tested positive for COVID-19 last week.
The 26-year-old has been isolating in a Welsh cottage as per government guidelines and according to the Daily Mail, he has now passed his latest health check with just days to go until the show starts.
"It is a huge relief, luckily AJ hasn't suffered at all with the virus – and was able to recover quickly," a show source told the newspaper.
"Thankfully his test result has come back negative so he has been given the all clear to go ahead with the show.
"He is so excited to take part, a positive test result at this last stage would have been devastating."
Other celebrities in the lineup include Shane Richie, Corrie legend Beverley Callard, Sir Mo Farah and Vernon Kay.
I'm A Celebrity... Get Me Out Of Here! begins Sunday at 9pm on ITV.
