Italian jockey Frankie Dettori is reportedly in "advanced talks" to take part in this year's I'm A Celebrity... Get Me Out Of Here!
The 52-year-old - known for his flamboyant personality - has announced that he is retiring from racing this year after a 35-year career, with one of his final events expected to be the Melbourne Cup in early November.
The new series of I'm A Celebrity begins on ITV just days later, and according to The Sun, Dettori is considering going straight from the saddle to the Australian jungle.
A source told the newspaper: "Frankie is a superstar signing for jungle casting producers as he is a legend in the horse racing world and would be reality TV gold.
"He might be pint-sized, but his personality is larger than life and he has real charm and a sense of humour.
"Frankie would be brilliant in the Bushtucker Trials too as being competitive is second nature to him.
"He's also got a wealth of stories he could tell around the campfire to keep other campmates entertained.
"Plus, as a jockey, he's had to keep his weight down his whole life so he can help coach the other starving contestants surviving on rice and beans."
Other celebs linked with the show include First Dates star Fred Sirieix, former EastEnders actress Danielle Harold and This Morning presenter Josie Gibson.
