I'm A Celebrity... Get Me Out Of Here! spinoff show The Daily Drop has been axed, ITV confirms.

ITV has confirmed that its online spinoff show for I'm A Celebrity... Get Me Out Of Here! will not be returning this year.

Called The Daily Drop, the show launched last year via the ITV Hub and featured host Vick Hope chatting with studio guests about the most recent episode of the main ITV show.

The programme - itself a replacement for ITV2's I'm A Celebrity... Get Me Out Of Here Now! - has now been ditched ahead of the new series starting next month, meaning that the show will not have an accompanying spinoff series for the first time in its history.

An ITV spokesperson confirmed: "The Daily Drop won't be returning this year but we'd like to thank Vick Hope and everyone involved in the show last year for bringing fans of I'm A Celebrity... Get Me Out Of Here! all the latest news and gossip."

Producers are currently in the process of finalising the lineup for the new series, with rumoured names including Louise Minchin, Richard Madeley, Adam Woodyatt, Matty Lee and Arlene Phillips.
