Boyzone star Keith Duffy has reportedly held talks with producers of I'm A Celebrity... Get Me Out Of Here! about appearing on this year's series.
For the first time in the show's history the new series will be held in Wales rather than New South Wales due to the coronavirus pandemic making travel to Australia impractical.
Duffy, who has previously appeared in Coronation Street, had been due to go on tour with ex-Westlife star Brian McFadden this year but now has space free in his schedule after the tour was pushed to 2021.
"Keith has had Zoom meetings with I'm A Celebrity's booker," a source told The Sun.
"Since the location moved from Australia to North Wales it's been a little more tricky to get people on board but the team are confident they sold it well.
"Keith would make for a brilliant campmate with his celebrity tales and his can-do attitude.
"He's been approached before but the timing has never been right. Everyone hopes that he might take a chance this time around."
The new series begins on ITV in November.
