Loose Women panelist Jane Moore is said to be in "advanced talks" about taking part in this year's I'm A Celebrity... Get Me Out Of Here!
The 62-year-old - also a columnist for The Sun - appeared on the talkshow's first ever episode in 1999 and has been a regular on the panel since 2013.
Should she agree to a stint in the jungle, Moore will follow in the footsteps of a long line of her co-stars to have taken part, including Charlene White (11th place in 2022), Linda Robson (9th in 2012), Janet Street-Porter (4th in 2004), Myleene Klass (2nd in 2006), Stacey Solomon (winner in 2010) and Frankie Bridge (3rd in 2021).
According to the Daily Mail, Moore is keen to embrace new challenges two years on from her split from husband of 20 years Gary Fallow.
"Jane is really excited for the challenge of I'm A Celeb," a source told the newspaper. "She's been separated from Gary now for two years and it's about time she set herself a new goal, to really experience what she's made of.
"It's been a transformative few years for Jane and doing the show, which will be completely out of her comfort zone, is something she's really looking forward to.
"As a journalist, she thrives among people and is hoping to make new friends in camp as well as share stories from her interesting life with whoever else is there."
Other names in the frame for the new series, which starts on ITV next month, include Olympic gymnast Max Whitlock, Coronation Street actor Alan Halsall, former Strictly Come Dancing star Oti Mabuse and boxer Tommy Fury.
