The BBC has announced that the new series of Line of Duty will begin on Sunday, March 21.
Filming of the new run was interrupted by the coronavirus pandemic last spring, meaning that it will have been two years between series five and six by the time the show returns.
The new series will focus on a new DCI, played by Kelly Macdonald, who comes under the suspicion of AC-12.
A short trailer released this weekend features Superintendent Ted Hastings (Adrian Dunbar) trying to end a standoff situation as sirens blare around him.
