Love Island reportedly signs up Toluwa Adepeju, a hunky 25-year-old doctor, for the new series.

Love Island producers have reportedly signed up hunky doctor Toluwa Adepeju for the upcoming new series.

After a break last year due to coronavirus, the dating show returns to ITV2 at the end of June and producers are currently in the process of finalising the lineup of contestants.

According to The Sun, 25-year-old Adepeju - a doctor who worked 70-hour weeks during the pandemic - is a shoo-in for the series, which will take place in the usual villa in Majorca.

"He's led from the very front - in hospital and online, educating people of the risks and the need to get vaccinated," a source told the newspaper.

"He is a perfect pick. He's modest, down to earth and loves what he does."

Other rumoured contestants include Nigel Benn's son Harley Benn, "Chelsea party boy" James Price and fire-eating beauty queen Alexis Bailey.
