E4 has announced that it will show the newest season of Married At First Sight Australia within weeks of its antipodean broadcast.
The Aussie version of the dating show has proved a hit for E4 over the last couple of years, regularly drawing audiences of over 1 million viewers.
The ninth season only began down under on Monday night but has now been confirmed to start in the UK later this month, meaning a delay of just a few weeks between transmissions.
Karl Warner, head of youth and digital at Channel 4, said: "We've now caught up with the Australian broadcast schedule so we can be as close to the action as possible.
"Married at First Sight Australia is the show everyone was talking about in 2021 and I've not doubt it'll be just as addictive in 2022."
The news comes days after E4 announced that the UK version of the show will return later this year for an extended run of 30 episodes.
